Summer Vacation: AFRICA!!!!

After teaching summer school and experiencing Ramadan for the first time (yes, I did it for the first two weeks!), I jetted off to America for 10 days, then flew to Africa with my partner in crime, Sally. We ventured to Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and South Africa. On my way to Africa, I was stuck in London for a night, Abu Dhabi for a night, and Kenya for 6 hours due to flight delays and missed connections… all the while not having a phone or a laptop with me!!! Crazy, I know.. but I made it! The photos are a bit scattered, so I apologize in advance for any confusion… You’ll see us partaking in a Safari Ride, a plane ride of the Okavango Delta, Victoria Falls, a bungee jump by the fearless miss Sally (jumping from the Victoria Falls bridge), Table Top Mountain, Shark Cage Diving, Robben Island (made famous by ex-prisoner and former leader Nelson Mandela of South Africa)…. what else?? A jazz fest in Gaborone (capital of Botswana)… Food, meeting new people, rejoicing with friends, and basically just having an adventure of a lifetime!!!!
